Ferrari: Mekies, Sanchez, Binotto and the others. Here’s who left and what they’ll do now

The last name is that of Laurent Mekies, racing director and sports director of the Scuderia. Others will likely follow in the coming months. Ferrari undergoing a major restructuring following the departure of Mattia Binotto at the end of last season (but not only), the new boss Fred Vasseur is facing a period of change. He has to lay the foundations to build the team of the future but he also has to deal with the present. With a tremendous start to 2023 from the point of view of results and performance: zero podiums in three races, 26 points collected between Leclerc and Sainz. Charles in particular was very unlucky: two retirements in three races. The Baku GP with the new format of double qualifying and the Sprint Race offers the possibility of redemption. But in the meantime we have to deal with the exodus from Maranello and with a purchasing campaign to carry on.
