Fantaghirò is back on TV (and streaming): what has happened to the protagonists of the saga over the years

On 22 and 23 December 1991, “Fantaghirò” arrived on TV for the first time on Canale 5, the first chapter of a successful television fantasy saga, directed by the master of horror Lamberto Bava. The film, which is inspired by the fairy tale “Fanta-Ghirò, persona bella” contained in the “Italian fairy tales” collected by Italo Calvino, had four sequels, always aired during the Christmas period. Once again this year the films of the franchise will return to Canale 5, from 22 to 31 December: «Fantaghirò 1» is scheduled for Thursday 22 and Friday 23 December from 2.40; «Fantaghirò 2» Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 December from 1.50; «Fantaghirò 3» Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 December from 2.40; «Fantaghirò 4» Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December from 2.40; «Fantaghirò 5» Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 December from 1.50.
