F1 Australian GP starting grid

Max Verstappen will start from pole position in Australian GP, third round of the Formula 1 world championship scheduled for Sunday (7 Italian time) at the Melbourne circuit. This is the 22nd pole of his career for the Dutch Red Bull driver, the second of the season after the one in Bahrain. Next to him in the front row the Mercedes of George Russell preceding the teammate Lewis Hamilton and the Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso. Third and fourth row for two o’clock Ferrari with Carlos Sainz 5th e Charles Leclerc 7th. Last place on the grid for the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez, out in Q1 after ending up in the sand.
