The report The recycling of electric vehicle batteries to 2050created by the Politecnico di Milano on behalf of Motus-E, an association that brings together and represents companies in the automotive sector and research organizations interested in the development of electric mobility in Italy, provides some interesting data.

Currently there are 9 centers for the recovery of battery materials, 60% of them are saved, but none of these is in Italy. In fact, they are found in France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain and Finland.
