El Shaarawy and Abraham- Corriere.it scored

Roma won 2-0 in La Spezia with goals from El Shaarawy and Abraham and moved into third place in the standings next to Inter engaged tomorrow night against Empoli.

In the first half, Spezia seemed more practical, while the Giallorossi wasted several opportunities. One for all an almost penalty kicked by Dybala, after landing on the edge of Celik’s area: he takes the free kick but only manages to hit the barrier in full. In the 34th minute it was Ibanez’s turn to embark on a long run towards the Ligurian goal, but the final shot was rejected. An attempt by Zalewski in the 40th minute is saved, immediately after Caldara lands Abraham and gets a yellow card: Dybala kicks the free-kick, manages to find the head of the Englishman but the shot is both weak and wide. The game is finally unlocked by El Shaarawy after a long throw-in by Mancini, Dybala’s run with the ball finds the Pharaoh who scores with his left foot.

In the second half Gotti changes Green and inserts Maldini, but Abraham doubles up almost immediately, unlocking with a precise pot after a mistake by Dragowski. Shortly after, on a free-kick from El Shaarawy, Dragowski promptly reacts to a deflection from Caldara while the Englishman, from close range, wastes the tap-in. For the rest, Roma just have to check the generous attacks from La Spezia. Of note, in the final, the naive admonition suffered by Celik, who was cautioned and will therefore miss the next match against leaders Napoli.
