Eating raw food: what you risk for your health

With the arrival of summer, there are more frequent opportunities to eat raw foods such as, for example, meat and vegetables. And if on the one hand, doing without cooking means preparing lighter dishes while preserving the nutrients, on the other – without the due precautions – they can increase the risk of poisoning. Food-borne diseases are one of the three topics on which the third edition of the #EUChooseSafeFood communication campaign is focused, launched today on the occasion of World Food Safety Day, by EFSA – European Food Safety Authority with the Ministry of Health.
