Duplantis amazes again: he climbs to 6.22 and improves his world record in the pole vault

Armand Duplantis still amazes and improves himself. The Swede improves his pole vault world record (the previous one dates back to July last year) by increasing by one centimeter and climbing to 6.22 on the third attempt. The feat in the All Star auction held in Clermont-Ferrand. The Tokyo Olympic champion and reigning world champion has held the world record since February 8, 2020, when he jumped 6.17 in Torun in Poland and dethroned Renaud Lavillenie (6.16). Curiosity, the French ace organized the meeting in which Duplantis set today’s record and was the first to embrace it after the record.
