Second blue medal from diving at the Fukuoka World Championships: Matteo Santoro and Chiara Pellacani conquered the bronze in the 3m springboard synchro. The Roman couple formed by the 20-year-old from the Fiamme Gialle and the 16-year-old, both MR Sport Fratelli Marconi members, finished with 242.12 behind China (Lin and Zhu), gold with 326.10, and Australia (Keeney and Bedggood), silver with 307.38.

For Italy of diving it is the second podium in Fukuoka, after the bronze conquered by Elena Bertocchi and Pellacani herself in the synchronized trampoline. The overall blue medal table at the World Cup is so far one gold, three silvers and three bronzes.
