De Sanctis: “The world of bowls will grow with Web TV”

As for the races, “the championships have begun, including the women’s Serie A della Raffa. Unfortunately, there have been many controversies, some even understandable and well-founded due to the too many rapid changes that have been made. There is certainly some good in what has been done, but now we need to stop and listen to the territories. We are going on the line of differentiating the regulation: one for the High Level and one for the Sport for All, giving derogation to the Regional Committees to decide the conduct of the competitions with the possible neutral/common ground and the possible duration of the competition ( 12 points on public holidays and pre-holidays, at 10 or 12 in the evening). While the High Level is played with the international system, ie at eight rounds.

It will also be very important to align the competitions reserved for category A only with the High Level system. But all this starting from 2024. We are also waiting for the definitive response from Innsbruck, for the Raffa junior European championship, because in case the Austrian city were to give up, Italy would be ready to face this further challenge”.
