Debut with victory in his first official boxing match in the regional championship of Sant’Anastasia, in the province of Naples. Davide De Martino, younger brother of conductor and dancer Stefanohusband of Belen Rodriguez, he started his career in the ring with a hit. Davide fearlessly challenged his opponent managing to win his first match. Thanks also to the support and training of Biagio Zurlo, Vesuvian Boxing technician, well known in Torre Annunziata, the city where Irma Testa’s talent also blossomed. “A great emotion for me”, the words of his father Enrico, reported on the Vesuvian Boxing Instagram page. «He reminded me of Stefano’s first steps in the world of entertainment», he added.

Davide entered the ring with great enthusiasm. In the past also Stefano, who then embarked on another type of career, trained for a period at Vesuvian Boxing, without however competing given his artistic career. And still today, to keep fit, he occasionally trains by doing amateur boxing matches as shown on social media. Zurlo recalled Stefano’s years in the team and the passing of the baton with Davide who participated in an official competition: «It is a source of great pride and satisfaction, even if it is a championship without full contact», the words of the master.
