Cycling: Women’s Giro will take place from 30 June to 9 July

The dates on which the 34th edition of the women’s Giro d’Italia will take place have been made official. The ‘pink race’ for girls, which returned to the World Tour last year, will start on Friday 30 June and finish on Sunday 9 July, after having crossed five regions: Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Liguria and Sardinia. For the third consecutive year, the organization will be managed by ‘Starlight’, a company led by Roberto Ruini who, also for the 34th edition of the Women’s Tour, will cover the role of general manager. Next April, the organizing body will announce the stages of the route.
