Cycling, Elisa Longo Borghini wins the UAE Tour: all-Italian podium

Elisa Longo Borghini won the inaugural Women’s UAE Tour. The fourth and final stage (119 km completely flat with arrival in Abu Dhabi) went to the Dutch Charlotte Kool in the sprint. Longo Borghini built on his success in the UAE by winning the uphill stage in Jebel Hafeet. In the final general classification, she climbs to the top step of an all-Italian podium, given that her Trek-Segafredo teammate finished behind her Gaia Realiniseparated by 7″.
