To find out if the gap will remain the same even at the end of the 34th matchday, the Grigiorossi will have to wait for the outcome of the other direct clash, the one between Lecce and Verona, scheduled for Sunday at 20.45. In the event of a defeat by the Scala family, salvation will once again be surprisingly close at hand. Carnesecchi saves, Ciofani scores

Zini’s match ignited immediately with a double chance for Spezia: Carnesecchi first defused Amian’s shot then overtook Wisniewski’s header. From that moment on, the hosts tried to limit the damage by also exploiting the mistakes made by their opponents: the turning point came in the 41st minute when Ciofani, favored by a rebound, overtook Dragowski with a low shot.
