Dialogue with students. The first phase of LOVVATI, which was included in the group of projects under the aegis of the Lombardy School Office, saw a series of wellness experts conversing with students, parents, teachers and staff of some elementary and middle schools in Milan. Between April and June, 6 institutes, 28 classes, 545 students (360 pupils in the 11-12 age group and 185 in the 9-10 age group), 84 teachers, 11 experts and more than 1,000 parents and / or family members. For the 2022/23 school year, the goal is to extend the project on the national territory for which, starting from autumn, some schools in Rome, Naples and Palermo are expected to be involved, as well as other institutes in the Milan area. and Lombard. The culture of prevention. The project. The course is developed in 8 hours of workshop / laboratory and includes a series of meetings in plenary – with several classes at the same time – and in individual classes with the experts of FARE X BENE:

psychologists with focus on: acceptance of the self and of who is other than me, nutrition and self-esteem, the weight of the gaze of others, prejudices and appearances, nutrition education and identity development;

nutritionists with focus on: what I eat, proper nutrition, eating disorders, knowing how to read and understand labels, real identity cards of products that help individual awareness;

social and digital experts with focus on: prevention and safe, correct and conscious use of social media and the web, bullying and cyberbullying (body shaming, fat shaming);

motor teachers with focus on: chasing away laziness and getting around every day, practical exercises and home work cards.

The schools involved. They are those who will be able to access a dedicated multichannel web platform; they will receive kits for working in the classroom with the teachers, which will in turn help to create supporting teaching materials, as well as practical activities to bring the good practices learned into the family. There are also meetings with the reference adults, parents and teachers and ATA staff, together with all the experts involved in the project. Children are also given a pedometer to track the pace of their progress.

It is a non-profit association that supports, promotes and implements projects and activities to combat all forms of violence between equals and gender, providing psychological and legal assistance to victims of abuse and violence.
