It happened that a preview of the match scheduled tonight, Saturday 4 February, at 8.45 pm at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia appeared on the official Twitter profile of the Bergamo club. Those posts in which the curiosities of the match and the precedents of the past between the two teams are explained. But in doing this, Atalanta called Sassuolo with the name of «JuveSassuolontus», comparing the neroverdi to Juventus. A trivial copy and paste error? Or was there some irony behind it?

The fact is that the tweet was later deleted, but the thesis of an error in good faith was naturally not believed by the Juventus fans. As soon as they saw the tweet, they got furious and went wild with offensive comments towards Atalanta (“Shame”, the less vulgar one). The post was subsequently not republished in the corrected version.

Many, indeed many, have thought of the irony that has been around for years on the excellent relations between Juventus and Sassuolo, cemented by numerous transfer market operations. And that’s why the anger of a fan base has been unleashed which right now feels targeted everywhere between investigations, capital gains, salary maneuvers and penalties. Also because any pairing of Sassuolo with another team would have been classified as an error resulting from carelessness, but not this one. And there are many who say that this irony, if it really was this, could have been avoided.
