All this because Berardi was the protagonist of the episode that led to the penalty whistled by the referee and then scored by himself, or rather the tumult with Kumbulla, when the Roma defender kicked him in the box. The referee Fabbri went to the Var to view the images and therefore decided for the expulsion of the Roma defender and the penalty for Sassuolo. Giallorossi up 10 and neroverdi up 3-1, in a match then won by Alessio Dionisi’s team 4-3.
