The presentation of ASviS Territorial Report 2022 in streaming today at 10.00 from the Parlamentino of Villa Lubin – headquarters of the National Council of Economy and Labor (Cnel) – in Rome. The document includes a review of the international and European experiences of territorialisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of theUN Agenda 2030 and the state of implementation of the National Strategy, the Regional Strategies and the Metropolitan Agendas for Sustainable Development.

It is a unique tool which, through elementary and composite statistical indicators, collects and analyzes the positioning of regions, provinces, metropolitan cities, urban areas and municipalities with respect to the 17 SDGs. To understand the importance of territories, just think that the Sustainable development solutions network (Sdsn) estimates that 105 of the 169 SDGs Targets (62%) will not be achieved without the involvement of local authorities.

The study, which reports data broken down by Region with data relating to Provinces and metropolitan cities included, also devotes a chapter to territorial inequalities and one to natural and man-made risks. Finally, the concluding chapters contain the ASviS proposals and the selection of best practices for the sustainable development of Territories.

The meeting will be attended, among others, by representatives of local authorities, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security.
