Appeal against fake pacifists (to be unmasked)

The only accusation that can be made against the West is that it did not act on Russia in time. The fusion of anti-Western doctrines, anti-Americanism, no-vax anti-scientism and pro-Putinian anti-historical theories has created a short circuit on Ukraine that must be denounced

The Russian aggression in Ukraine has highlighted the presence of a significant and – above all – noisy area on the left which defines itself as pacifist but which seems to be moved, rather than by pacifism, by aversion towards liberal and social democratic democracies, underlining their errors, defects, the distance from the ideal model. The paradoxical effect of this approach is that from legitimate and often necessary criticisms we pass to not recognizing the differences between the various democracies or even to justifying dictatorships in the name of a multipolar world, an expression that Putin took over from Aleksandr Dugin, as much of Russia’s strategic vision.
