At that moment my life stopped because I was in Italy and you were there alone, far from your loved ones”. And then: “So, in my heart, I promised myself that if I had come out unscathed from this situation I would have done two things that you care so much about: -Help you get back to dancing which is your passion and dedicate yourself to the last competition of my career to celebrate your recovery and thank you for all you have done for me and my brother. In addition to thanking you, dear mother, I would like to thank all the people who have given me their affection and encouragement over the years. I want to thank all the people who have been close to us particularly in difficult times”.

Andrew Howe announced in the early days of 2023 his farewell to racing, at the age of 37, a decision that came after a career studded with injuries. “I’ve always been very demanding of myself, but at one point I felt like I never took the time to process everything I’d done. Like I’d never achieved my real goal, which was to win the Olympics. I see the sun on the horizon. I decided to expand and discover Andrew’s other qualities, as a personal trainer, training the little ones or why not, in the entertainment world”.
