The reasons are different. The consequences, however, could be the same. After the case that involved Juventus due to financial issues, now it’s Manchester City’s turn. Indeed, the English Football Association has put the club under scrutiny. The Sky Blues, owned by Abu Dhabi sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, are accused of 113 violations of the rules of the Premier League, the top English league, for the seasons ranging from 2009-2010 to 2017-2018 (14 in all ).
