Tomorrow, February 28, at 17.00 at the Gallerie d’Italia in Naples, Aldo Cazzullo will present his book “A particular day”, by Solferino Edizioni, an exciting story written for the youngest on twelve memorable events, from the discovery of America to the defeat of Caporetto, from the trial of Artemisia Gentileschi to the massacre of Capaci, which transformed Italy and the whole world. Speakers will be Gaetano Manfredi, mayor of Naples; Enzo d’Errico, director of Corriere del Mezzogiorno; Flaminia Gennari Santori, art historian and director of the National Galleries of Ancient Art in Rome. Moderated by Ida Di Martino, journalist and presenter of Radio Kiss Kiss Italy.
The initiative
The figure of Artemisia Gentileschi, to whom Aldo Cazzullo’s book dedicates an entire chapter, invites us to reflect on the main turning points of our history and the courage of the people who have been able to change it. The presentation of the book is part of the initiatives to explore the exhibition “Artemisia Gentileschi in Naples” from a multidisciplinary point of view, which runs until 19 March.
