His wife Franca and Lara, his son’s partner, who were at home and who provided first aid, did not in fact witness the fall, which would have occurred from a height of about two metres. Rescued by the 118 doctors, due to the head injury reported, the former coach was taken to the Romagna hospital and was hospitalized in intensive care, where he always remained vigilant. Today the operation to reduce the hematoma.

Zaccheroni was at the World Cup in Qatar last December, part of the technical study group (TSG) wanted by Fifa and led by Arsne Wenger to deliver analysis on matches.
