On 21 and 22 June, 470,000 students will take the two written tests, prepared at ministerial level and sent by electronic mail at the same time to all schools. The written tests will be followed, between the end of June and the first two weeks of July, by the last test of the interview.

The use of mobile phones, smartphones, smartwatches and any equipment that could be connected to the outside or inside of the school building will be prohibited.

The two written tests

The first scheduled test is that of the Italian theme: it will have a maximum duration of six hours and students will be able to choose from seven different tracks that refer to the artistic, literary, historical, philosophical, scientific, technological, economic and social fields.

The second test, according to the decree issued by the minister Joseph Vallettara last January 23, will concern the disciplines that characterize the course of study, in particular Latin at the classical high school, mathematics at the scientific high school, business economics for the technical institutes of the economic sector specializing in “Administration, Finance and Marketing”, Design, Construction and Plants for the curriculum “Construction, Environment and Territory”.
