A toast to Vialli who understood everything

Let me start the column with a toast to Gianluca Vialli, who understood everything: he was one of the first Italians to come to England, realizing the superiority of the Premier League compared to a Serie A that was still slightly better than the English championship. He came here not to winter, but to give everything: he started, among others, the Chelsea epic that won every possible trophy in the following twenty years. He became English, a symbol of a team of which he was also a coach-player, he remained in London even after. And then he put it in that place with Mancini’s Italy in the Euro 2020 final, without saying bullshit about eating pasta.
