For Viktoriia Onopriienko, life and rhythmic gymnastics are the same thing. Not just because she is number 4 in the world, tenth at the Tokyo Olympics. And not even because she started when she was 4, she was in love with those athletes who looked like fairies with colored ribbons. Rhythmic gymnastics is life because it is an oasis in the desert of war: her city is Kyiv, the offended Ukraine is her country, the Deriugina School is the setting for every day.
