Esselunga accelerates and opens a new superstore betting again on Genoa, with a ribbon cutting that marks a doubling in the Ligurian capital after the inauguration of the first city store at the end of 2020, the fourth in the region after La Spezia and Albenga, the 186th of the group. If the first Genoese store had a size of 1,500 square meters, in the San Benigno district in via di Francia the group has chosen the superstore format with a surface area of ​​3,200 square meters. And to demonstrate its roots in every territory where it lands, Esselunga has chosen 100 Ligurian suppliers not only for the stores in Genoa but also for those present throughout the sales network, giving them an opportunity to make the products known on a national scale.
