THEthe Gazzetta Sports Festival, now in its sixth edition, it will return to Trento in the autumn with its well-tested and appreciated program: talks, interviews, live events, exhibitions and special events. A great party that will be experienced in the squares, courtyards, palaces and museums. “We are happy to announce the sixth edition of the Sport Festival – commented the president and CEO of Rcs MediaGroup Urban Cairo – The Festival is followed with passion both in Italy and abroad and, like every year, the protagonists will be the great champions. People will populate Trento but there will be a strong digital presence, which last year reached 20 million video views. We are all working on a fantastic edition and I am thrilled to be returning to this beautiful city.”

The big news of this edition will be ithe Gazzetta Active Village: a real Wellness Festival, with a program of courses that will allow you to train with the great champions, plus a talk space to have the training secrets revealed by technicians, nutritionists and experts. A large open-air gym will be set up in Piazza Dante, dedicated to indoor and outdoor physical activity. The event is as always organized by Gazzetta dello Sport directed by Stefano Barigelli and by Trentino Marketing, with the Autonomous Province of Trento, Municipality, Apt and with the patronage of Coni and the Italian Paralympic Committee. «I have seen this great event dedicated to sport at all levels grow year after year – the message of the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò – The trend in all countries is to follow sport through this type of event. The Sports Festival has an extraordinary participation. For the sixth year it will be a long and wonderful journey, with ever greater success». For four days, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 October, Trento will be a catwalk of champions. All events will be free. Many disciplines involved, as always. The vicar of the Gazzetta and scientific director of the Festival, Gianni Valenti: «They have been five record years with 4 on-field editions, a special digilive edition, over 200,000 visitors, 600 events, 1,300 guests and over 48 million video views: but we want and must continue to grow. This year’s title is The Great Beauty, because sport is beauty both in gestures and in messages».
