The Zen Garden is a transitional urban forest growing in EUR

Is called “eUrban” and it is the green heart ofEUR, the south-west district of Rome known for the buildings of the architect Piacentini. And right in the shadow of the EuroSky tower by architect Franco Purini and the Euroma 2 shopping center stands the Bosco Transitorio, made up of 400 trees and over 50 shrubs. The management company Silver Fir Capital with GWM Group, in collaboration with the artist Ria Lussihas launched an urban redevelopment program whose soul is given by the encounter between architecture, sustainability and art.

Adjacent, another space houses theItalian Zen Garden, where over ten medicinal species, such as thyme, calendula and hyssop, grow around a centuries-old olive tree. The project is completed by a free-use contemporary art gallery, located along the pedestrian area for 400 metres, “The Walkaround Gallery”which welcomed public art installations with 182 works by 12 international artists.
