The playoffs for Serie A are underway: Sudtirol-Reggina and Cagliari-Venice, the semi-final up for grabs

Two straight challenges, the pass to the play-off semifinals up for grabs, the first step towards a dream called Serie A. Tomorrow Sudtirol-Reggina, Saturday Cagliari-Venicehe who passes finds Bari And Parma.

Playoffs, Sudtirol-Reggina

Single match on Friday 26 May, again at 8.30 pm, at the Marco Druso in Bolzano where Sudtirol hosts Pippo Inzaghi’s Reggina. There is a lot of regret in the South Tyrolean home for having lost fourth place on the last day, but Bisoli’s men, the real surprise of this championship, will have two results out of three available to go through. Even a draw is enough for the semifinal against Bari. Reggina, on the other hand, will have to play an attacking match, securing seventh place in the last second of the last day with the victory over Ascoli in the 94th minute despite the 5-point penalty in the standings. Inzaghi’s team can only play for one result, victory. If at the end of the regular 90′ the result should be tied, we will go to extra time, if the tie persists in the 120th minute, the best placed team in the standings will qualify, in this case Sudtirol.

Playoffs, Cagliari-Venice

On Saturday 27 May at 20.30, however, at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari, Ranieri’s team hosts Venezia, whoever passes challenges Parma in the semifinals. Also in this case the classification is valid: in the event of a tie in the 90th minute and a further tie in the 120th minute, the Sardinian team goes through. It will probably be the most awaited match between the two teams in the best shape of the moment with the long-distance challenge between Lapadula (21 goals) and Pohjanpalo (19), respectively top scorer and vice-top scorer of B, to further ignite the match. Similar path for both teams that have literally changed course to their championship with the arrivals of Ranieri and Vanoli. The Lagunari even went from the relegation zone to eighth place in the second round.
