Anyone who had the fortitude to continue reading Ezio Mauro’s editorial yesterday in Repubblica, classified under the obsessive “The cultural sovereignty of the right”, would have found that in the sulphurous panorama imagined by Mauro everything magically holds: the Salone under attack (but by whom?), the “common sense” and the tremendous ambition of Giorgia Meloni to subtract “this culturally sovereign ability to decipher and define what we were experiencing”, and which was obviously “recognized on the left”.
