Public tenders, the new rules

The rules for public tenders have changed. The government’s amendment to the Public Administration decree approved on 6 June in the Chamber, combined with the Presidential Decree approved on Wednesday 7 June by the Council of Ministers, will change the methods for selecting future civil servants. Among the novelties (of the amendment) the streamlining of procedures, no more oral tests until 2026 for non-top positions and the obligation to indicate in each call for tenders the percentage of gender representation in the administration that calls it. In the Council of Ministers, on the other hand, the go-ahead for gender representation and a maximum time of 6 months to conclude the procedure.
