Remembering Muhammad Ali. In Marciana, in the Amphitheater of Procchio, the "Memorial Muhammad Ali" was held, an event dedicated to the legend of world boxing, who passed away on 3 June 2016. Among these, Annalisa Brozzi, former European featherweight champion, and Roberto Cammarelle, Olympic champion in Beijing 2008 and now manager of the Fiamme Oro, who took to the ring in Procchio to bear their testimony and retrace Ali's exploits together with the Mayor by Marciana Simone Barbi, to the vice president of the Tuscany regional committee of the Fpi, Achille Cocco, and to the president of the organizing committee of the Milan 2009 World Championships Andrea Locatelli, from Elba by adoption. Organized by the Municipality of Marciana in collaboration with the Italian Boxing Federation and the Tuscany regional committee, the event, part of the "Boxing Heroes" campaign, also celebrated The Greatest with an Olympic boxing exhibition.

The 'special guests' Cammarelle and Brozzi recounted their experience as life and sport champions, witnesses of fair play and Ali's metaphor: "inside a ring or outside, there's nothing wrong with falling. It's wrong to stay on the ground". Together they recalled how charismatic, communicative and rebellious Ali was.
