Lotte Kopecky wins the Nokere Koerse and mourns for her dead brother

Last week the Belgian champion fights Kopecky she was struck by the sudden death of her brother Seppe, two years older. After talking to her loved ones, Lotte decided to run there Nokere koerse, in Belgium, then communicated this to the management of SD Worx who accepted his decision. Finding incredible strength within herself, Kopecky sprinted up the Nokereberg 12 kilometers from the finish and arrived all alone for a heartwarming feat. Her first words were «I think we ran in two today». Behind her great stopper work of the entire SD Worx. In the end Lorena Wiebes clearly regulated the chasing group in the sprint, with Marta Bastianelli (UAE Team ADQ) and Elisa Balsamo (Trek Segafredo) in her wake.

Milan-Turin orange, De Kleijn wins
