Over 5 billion in damages due to floods in Emilia-Romagna

Making a very complicated count because we have to do not only that of direct damages but also of indirect ones – explained the vice president of the Emilia-Romagna Region and councilor for Civil Protection, Irene Priolo, speaking on Sky Tg24. – We have had problems ranging from Bologna to Rimini and therefore the situation is really extensive. Surely there will be more than 5-6 billion but making an estimate now is not easy. For the road and railway network alone, damage to infrastructure exceeds 620 million, according to an initial estimate by the Region. But much of the municipal road network is still missing.
