Flood in Emilia and Romagna: there is solidarity piadina and volunteers are being sought for hospitality, food distribution, table assistance, cleaning
ROME - The flood that has hit Emilia Romagna in recent days has caused enormous damage: to help the population of the areas affected by the natural disaster, the Municipality of Bergamo (after the positive experience of theSolidarity Amatriciana of 2016, when the citizens of Bergamo responded with great heart and willingness to the call to lend a hand) organizes the Solidarity flatbread: today, Friday 26 May in the center of Bergamo the cooks will prepare piadine, a symbolic dish of the affected region, and citizens will be invited to buy them and eat them in the square not only to raise funds, but also to show their closeness to the people of Emilia and Romagna .
Volunteers wanted. To carry out this great undertaking, the Municipality needs volunteers who, coordinated by CSV Bergamo, will take care of welcoming the participants, distributing food, serving tables, cleaning, facilitating the influx and outflow of the public. The opening hours are from 5pm to the end of the event; a small group of volunteers is also required from 2 to 5 pm to help set up the spaces.
