In Jeddah, after the first two free practice sessions on Friday, it’s time for qualifying ahead of the Saudi Arabian GP, the second round of the F1 World Championship. The man to beat is the usual Verstappen, already winner in the first race in Bahrain, who proved to be still head and shoulders above everyone else by dominating the first two free practice sessions. Before qualifying, scheduled for 6pm, there will be third free practice at 2.30pm. The Ferraris, which appeared delayed (9th time for Leclerc, 10th for Sainz), will try to make up ground especially compared to the Aston Martins of Alonso (2nd) and Stroll (7th) and the Alpines of Ocon (4th) and Gasly (6th). Leclerc in particular will be called to change pace also because he will be penalized 10 positions on the starting grid after replacing an electronic component on his SF-23.
