Stop taxes and contributions until August 31, suspension of mortgages and payment of bills, layoffs in derogation for all employees up to 90 days, with coverage of up to 580 million euros. And a one-off payment of up to 3,000 euros for self-employed workers, with coverage up to 300 million euros. These are the first measures to deal with the bad weather emergency in Emilia-Romagna, provided for in the decree approved on Tuesday 23 May by the Council of Ministers. In the current situation in which Italy finds itself, finding 2 billion euros in a few days is not an easy thing. The whole government must be acknowledged for having dedicated itself to the emergency with the maximum concentration, availability and effectiveness possible, said the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, illustrating the decree at the table with the President of Emilia Romagna Stefano Bonaccini and the social partners of the region.
