Calderone attempts the blitz: the suppression of Anpal is ready

The blitz, suddenly. One amendment, and Anpal is gone. The National Agency for Active Policies is about to be abolished at the behest of the government. Elvira Calderone has apparently decided. This, at least, is what her chief of staff, Mauro Nori, communicated to Raffaele Tangorra, the extraordinary commissioner of Anpal convened in the past few hours in Via Veneto, for a meeting that proved to be long and somewhat stormy. Calderone’s move – of which not even the allies of Lega and Forza Italia, as it turns out, would have been made aware – will materialize, according to what transpires from the Ministry of Labour, in an amendment that the government will present shortly to the decree on Pa, under consideration by the Montecitorio Labor Commission. The entire structure of Anpal, with its skills and over 200 employees, will therefore be absorbed into the Active Policies directorate of the same ministry.
