She is one of the strongest blue skiers, he is an established journalist and presenter of the “Non è l’Arena” program on La7. On the two, thirty years of difference, the rumors continue to chase each other: “Is there a love story between Sofia Goggia and Massimo Giletti?”. The suspicions were fueled by a TV interview that the conductor released at the end of February and by the champion’s answers to direct questions from the “Hyenas” Nicolò De Devitiis and Giovanni Fortunato, on the eve of the fourth conquest of the downhill World Cup, celebrated on the peaks of Soldeu in Andorra. A cross-comparison that animated the gossip, after the same blue, together with her brother, had met the journalist in Rome last May, promptly paparazzi as they embraced.

February 28th Giletti is interviewed by Francesca Fagnani, with a debut in which he himself recalled how good Goggia had been at imitating him “in a crazy way” a few weeks earlier. After a few questions, the colleague brings the conversation to the love side. The journalist replies that he has a woman in his life, without even trying to deny it, but to the joke “does this woman exist or is she like Mark Caltagirone?” (referring to the famous case involving Pamela Prati) Once Giletti understood Fagnani’s implicit reference to the skier from Bergamo, he claimed to love the mountains, places close to his origins («I come from a mountain village and I grew up there »), but reiterates that he wants to keep certain information to himself.

To these (cryptic) answers were added those of Goggia to the Hyenas, in an episode aired on March 21st. The correspondents insist several times, just on the eve of a race for the very important skier. “So it’s all rumors?” and again «Who do you kiss goodnight?», finally «Are you engaged?». In the face of so much insistence, the champion responds in monosyllables, until it explodes. First she says that she only ever kisses herself at the end of the day, then that she’s single, and finally that they shouldn’t bother her with this story (“Don’t fuck me ***” is her roaring reply), but to let her train in peace and prepare serenely for the race. Answers which, however, do not dispel any doubts, because Goggia does not overreact and avoids the subject. The unsaid therefore remains and the experts of gossip they will continue to do research, analyzing each (non) answer and any detail that could bring the two characters together.
