Silvio Berlusconi received a visit from his younger son, Luigi, at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, where he has been hospitalized since Monday evening for tests.

Luigi Berlusconi left the facility in the early afternoon, without making any statements to the press. Shortly before his arrival, a car had pulled into the hospital parking lot to carry bags, suitcases and a case of water.

The former prime minister was to be discharged today, but will remain in hospital for further checks: hospitalization could be postponed for a couple of days. Yesterday, his brother Paolo went to visit the leader of Forza Italia.

Berlusconi had already been hospitalized at San Raffaele just over a year ago, in January 2022, at the turn of the election of the President of the Republic, for a urinary tract infection. In September 2020 he also tested positive for the Sars-CoV-2 virus, and developed symptoms of Covid-19, including bilateral pneumonia.
